It's not exactly coming soon, but
WowWee has announced plans for a
Robosapien feature film, teaming with Arad Productions with the intention bringing the movie to theaters in 2009. Details are unfortunately pretty scarce at the moment, although it will apparently combine live-action and CGI, and promises to "translate Robosapien
's lifelike characteristics and endearing personality into a compelling and entertaining story." Frankly, however, we can't imagine it possibly being any more compelling or entertaining than the potential film depicted in our humble suggestion above.
wha..?
lol, that picture really threw me off
also, i will not be watching this movie.
I have had it with these motherf'n robots on this motherf'n plane!
I think it would be funny, albeit horrible, to see a Blade Runner remake/ripoff in which an 80-year-old Harrison Ford searches for Robosapiens (instead of Replicants)
Either that or just do what you thought. That would be funny. Especially if it included 1950s superstitions like Nazi UFO bases and Mole People.
Already been done

Seen something like this on http://www.sanssapiens.com/ . They have been watching the rise of machines. Wow wee has been doing a lot lately.... even McDonalds has their miniaturized toys in Kids meals.
Well, I didn't video it, but last Christmas I ran a cage match between RoboSapien and a 10th Anniversary Tickle Me Elmo doll.
Elmo won, hands down.
Why? Several reasons.
First, it was hard to get RoboSapien to actually hit the buttons on Elmo's stomach.
But when you missed, and RoboSapien's finger sensors hit anything, he said, "Ouch."
When you hit, Elmo went into a frenzy, but as he finished he said "Do it again!"
And finally, if RoboSapien fell over, it was game over. Elmo could stand up on his own.
Rather mindless, but the 30 somethings liked it as much as the 8 year olds.
