HTC Kaiser in the wild
Whoa, what's that HTC Kaiser doing there? Don't whip out your Wizard or Hermes and try this, folks -- you'll only end up with tears and a broken Pocket PC -- it's a hot new trick HTC's Hermes follow-on has up its sleeves. Besides the wacky flip-up action, the Kaiser ups the camera to a full 3 megapixels (an extra million pixels over its predecessor), adds HSUPA support for crazy fast uploads, GPS, and the now-obligatory Windows Mobile 6 Professional. No word on release, but we know with certainty that HTC wants this thing in users' hands in 2007, so we'd expect it to start showing up on European networks before too long. Click on for plenty of gorgeous photography.

Oh, we wants it! We wants it! Finally a keyboard, gps and fast enough processor for skype :) And it can't come a moment too soon - the death of my last smart-phone has me relegated to my old t68i

Aight, ship it already... I have been reading about this forever... Why does it seem like it takes forever when you want something?!?!!?

Oh HTC, why do you toy with me so. I just got my Hermes and am completely bowled over by the improvements over the Wizard. Now you go and add pretty much every little thing I could think of improving on the Hermes, which is an admittedly small list.

You just got your herpes? Sounds like you could use a decade's supply of cream. And look, your name is saq.....lol

Oh mighty phone gods, thank your for finally delivering the Kaiser to me. I'm sorry that I allowed my faith to waver after no word came during CeBIT; but just as I falter, you reward me. I will praise thee until my fingertips are too feeble to text and my mobile device slips from my grasp...
Wow. I have been waiting a long time for the 2.8" diagonal screen, QWERTY, GSM quadband, 3G, WM6 mobile device WITH standalone GPS (since the HP iPaq hw6500 series to be exact) and I am going to snatch one up as soon as possible to reward myself for being so damn patient. I just hope that the new two-way flip I like so much is nice and sturdy!
Trane @ Mar 21st 2007 10:21AM
Take a look at the small bulge on the back of the screen. It has a SIM card logo and apparent door so you no longer have to turn off the device and take it all apart to swap the SIM. I want it!
