HTC S720 vs Vox and TyTn hands-on
Like the Vox? Well, you probably haven't played with it yet, but as far as Smartphones go the Vox is pretty slick. Unfortunately, its biggest limitation, EDGE data, is well resolved with the S720, its EV-DO-equipped little brother. Check out the hands on gallery with tons of size comparisons with the Vox and Tytn, it's the perfect chaser to the 6800 hands-on.

If this comes to Sprint I will be ecstatic. Although I'd really like it to be 15mm or less.

Wow, what a difference the aesthetics make. Very attractive phone that looks 100x better than the Vox.
However, you'll notice that Vox is running "Windows Mobile 6 Standard" while the new s720 is running boring ol WM5 Smartphone Edition. Hopefully that will change....

wm5, not rounded, what is this the 70s???
but 3g ill take, im in europe for a while i might just pick up a vox in a few days when i can find one, played with one the other day, same size as the startrek, barely thicker, so smooth, i cant wait

What is the deal with HTC, that they *must* make their CDMA counterparts to look BOXY as hell. 6700, Titan, this crap. It looks a lot worse.

Sorry but the Vox looks way more sleek and the keyboard layout is better. The Numberical Pad is rubberized which I do like in fact. The side buttons are flush with the device on the Vox as well. Sorry Vox > S720 as far as software and aesthetics go.

Great device. I waited 6 months for this before I finally got a BlackJack and switched Cingular. Now that this phone is still about 6 months away, I'm glad I changed when I did. Sorry Sprint and Verizon, you are too slow. This phone was scheduled for Jan 8th for CES and nothing happened. Maybe in 2 years when my contract is up I will switch to Sprint. By that time, they might actually have this phone released.

It was just lunched in Canada with Telus. However, it appears the WiFi feature is not available. Very disappointing!!!! Otherwise, it’s a pretty cool phone.
