Apocalyptic foosball: Eleven Forty's The Opus, good vs. evil
God vs. Lucifer. Mother Teresa vs. Jack the Ripper. Mary Poppins vs., um, Vlad the Impaler. And Christopher Robin vs. Pol Pot? Finally, we can act out our favorite epic battles of good vs. evil in what's surely the most legendary arena of them all: foosball. This is Eleven Forty's The Opus, a precision-crafted hand-made table dramatic enough to settle the score once and for all. Fun in theory, but how many people do you know would want to take the reins of Hitler, Idi Amin, and Caligula against you? You know what? Don't answer that, we don't even want to know.

Is it just me, or does Idi Amin look like Geordi LaForge from "Star Trek: The Next Generation"?

That is EXACTLY what I thought! I was trying to figure out what made him as bad as Hitler.

Dear Engadget team,
You guys should order one of these so we can have an NYC Engadget sponsored foosball tourney. Or better yet, just sponsor a foosball tourney and give a few cool toys away as the prizes.

Does it have George Bush against......

They should make a whole series of the carved likenesses that could be swapped out manually depending on who you wanted to fight on which side... maybe even after-market opportunities?
You could have Bush, Clinton, Carter, FDR, and Lincoln all on the red side...

That is *adorable*. They should sell the little Hitler-in-a-footballers-outfit figurine as a desktop toy... some of the other ones are funny too. It's a shame I can't check out the rest of them -- the site *requires* flash, and I refuse to visit on principle. Seriously, when will some people learn good web design?

Yeah, before I read the story, I was wondering what the hell Geordi and Hitler were doing on the same foosball table.

If they should add Bush here, they should have the ball as his head and should make noise everytime you hit it.
