The problem with shared memory or unified contraction causes slower and diseption data.
Mostly causes more metadata to converse and you loose data.
The storage in the 360 elite is nice but i can get a PSX harddrive for 20 bucks that has 160gig's of space or a thumbdrive that costs 60 dollars for 500gig's or possibly get a 127 dollars external harddrive for a decent brand name off of ebay brand new thats is 1tara byte big.
Ps3 carries true DobieHD and allows up to 7:1 surround sound while the elite can carry only up to 5:1 - but don't fret because you can always get a complier to allow more precisely up to 22:1 and ECT;... always loop holes to things. soo be happy there!
When upgradeing your 360 in the end you'll end up pay'in more than you would've with the ps3. not to mention sense the ps3 allows for another OS and emulators and Homebrewing has bombed into a major point for geruds. You can play precisely any other gameing console games on the ps3. Stop look'in for emulators for the 360, cause there isn't one but homebrewing the ps3 you can allow xbox 360 games to play on it.

ALSO I do believe the real reason people get xbox 360 is for that game.. hmm what it called... Ooo ah YEAH thats it "HALO" the overly hyped game... think about.. since all the people in my area in or school which is populated by 9000 kids, and has gotten bigger this comming school year main purpose for buying the 360 was for that game halo..
WHAT will happen after HALO 3 is doen played out of course people will play it for a year or 2 but after that one year of play'in it.. is there really any means to the xbox 360?? think about it.. not to mention that game killzone 2 is definately a halo 3 killer lol... but of course halo will still prevail due to its popluarity, but not to mention it was at first another corny alien killing game on the pc before it hit the xbox generally and yes it was out on pc before xbox. well any questions or arguments to anythin hit me up I'll gladly have a discussion.

First of all I just want to point out what makes Sony soo special not to mention the actual technology domenant company is that they go out of there way inventing better technology than whats in the market.
They usualy make the best products but what fails them is that..

The Cell technology is far superior to the dual/quad core's not to mention 50% of the super computers are made with cell processor technology.

Even though the PSN isn't as good as the xbox live, the full online market, banking, HOME, etc.... opening will all open up in November. it's free and yes Sony always lives up to it's customers needs!!
Y'all do know that Imerson or however you spell the company did take away their law suit on Sony about the rumble technology and that they said rumble will have no interference with motion sensing.. not to mention not only will the controller have smart rumble compression but the thumbsticks will RUMBLE TOO!!!! and the virtual helment they patent 2002 they are building and virtual gloves for the ps3... and the gloves have force feedback and however you movwe your hands the hands in the game move the same to the very tip of your finger and joints.

well tell you lot the truth
the ps3 looks as if its a erm, i dont even no, but if i was sony i wood be ashamed of the way it looks.
the ps3 has so many software and hardware problems built in and you will get no refund for any of it.
also, the ps3 is no fun, you cant take it apart and make it better, but with the 360 you can, you can take the case of and attach so many other components to it thats not even supposed to be there.
the 360 if tou have the money you can buy the HD cd drive if you want the graphics.
also microsoft gives you a much better online server to connect to when you play online.
also you can change the looks of your 360 on the outside
make the inside better aswell, you also get software updates
and msn, now i tink that is grate, play a game, talk to your mates on mic and cam all at the same time.
all of the xbox has a MUCH MUCH better operating system and knows how to cope
all the ps3 does is play games practicly, now what fun is that if im paying £500 something pounds for it
ill get the elite for £350 and do it up myself, cheaper, better.
i saw in a post that said the xbox 360 has better graphics, i cant really agree with that...the ps3 and the xbox 360 have the same exact graphics but the ps3 has better physics but not by a lot, since the 360 is cheaper and is basically the same as the ps3 i am sticking with the ps3 and all of the good games that are coming out within the next several years
i also see that people love that you can surf the internet and stuff but really why surf the internet on a gaming system if you can just do that on a computer. the ps3 shouldnt be competing with the xbox 360 because the xbox 360 is a "gaming console" they should be competing with the pc because thats what the ps3 is a pc. i have my own pc sooooo i have no reason at all to buy a ps3
The PS3 yes does indeed have a state of the art and everything inside, the xbox 360 is only equipped with a dvd player, a dvd player does not mean it can't have hidef, that is why some games support 1080p, they dont lie. As for the PS3 i think it has a long way to go before it beats the xbox 360, Bill Gates was smart, he got all the games, its gonna take a while before the game developers to figure out the best of the PS3, and will also take a decent amount of time before they release a good game. That is the purpose of the xbox 360, games come fast and so do the sales.
Ok, some people like matt; some like gloss..... WHO CARES... I've have both consoles they both look shit... The xbox wins hands down tho!!!.. Not for its STATE OF THE ART" blu ray tech (which they will never be able to fully use...) nor its stunning looks.. BUT u put them on side by side on an HD TV 720p, 1080i, 1080p and there is little difference in picture quality, if anything the xbox produces better graphics with less ghosting ( unless u use a rubbish TV). Who cares about the WIFI, if you want to play online games you would want to have the fastest connection (W I R E D), wirless just don't cut it!!
On the game front.. there are over 400 titles for the 360 all worth playing... for the PS3 i can only name a handfull WORTH playing, and most of those will be on the 360 as well
With the 360 there is a whole community across the world (XBOX LIVE) playing together AND SPEAKING to each other while playing. You pay for the year, you get access for the year TO EVERY GAME!!!!!!!!!, download demos to unreleased games, music and soon hd films (IF YOU WANT THEM) Unlike the PS3 which you have to pay for individual games.
Yes the xbox does have a DVD drive, which means you have to buy a HD player for it at $150 - £120. BUT, How many people have already bought an expsensive dvd player. How many of them will play HD movies when they are released and blu ray fails to live up to what they promised.

jaguar console - for those of you who remember it, u know what i mean, and those who don't .... Thats my point...
They're both awesome consoles which have their respective pros and cons. A gamer's choice in console should reflect his gaming needs such as console target market, game genre, game services, etc... - just to name a few. eg, Some gamers would prefer a console that is "family & kid friendly" like, say, a GameCube. To judge the consoles now is a fault in itself as the console's marketing peak has not arrived yet - possibly due to the lack of competition (eg. if one console game up with a godly game, then it generates competition... provoking the other console to come up with something better and hence "push the boundaries" of game designing/producing.)
P.S.
Although as unbiased as I may seem, I do like the sound of the PS3 - mainly because I'm such an oh-so-mathematical type of person that likes statistics on paper. Another thing which prompts me to be averse to the 360 is that it is not as backwards compatible (and I do have an original Xbox with a lot of games... AND I also have a lot of Playstation 2 games...)

If a person can't decide what console they should get, I think they should do the following steps:
1) Imagine yourself holding one of the consoles.
2) Now, imagine fucking it hard.
3) When the time comes to shoot the load, record the distance of your cum shot.
4) Fuck the other console.
5) Record the distance as before.
6) Compare which console made you cum further.
7) Choose that console!! And buy it - but this time, don't fuck it.

At one point microsoft were talking about releasing an update from live that would let you watch HD-DVD's on the 360. I dunno how that would work, but i heard it from somewhere. Also, while the Ps3's 'core processor' thingy is pretty powerful (although not necessarily new), thet other guy was right when he said it's hard for programmers to tap. An a powerful console without games that can tap it is a wast of moolah.
i really love how all you playstation-lovers talk about the blu-ray when thats all ps3 has over 360. 360 has a better processor, a far superior online gaming experience,and even though all to gether playstation has more games than xbox most of ps3/ps2game suck they dont even begin to compete with the halo trilogy and halo wars is going to surpass all of sonys rts games.

Only people who care about specs are nerds who have to have more powerful PC. Whats point in bluetooth, memory card readers or internet browing when people use there PCs to share pics and surf net. 360 is built for gaming and that it does alot better than PS3. PS3 only have MGS and that has gone all crappy and over japanesy according to latest trailers. Xbox1 had better graphics than PS2 and who won then. Its aboout gaming not useless features and specs. 360 rules.

yo iight, the 360 elite has a HDMI which the original 360 doesn't. 360 elite and ps3 can both play 1080p ( max reselution ). you can download more stuff on the elite compared to the ps3. the colours dont really matter.... it's basically the stuff that it comes with. the xbox 360 elite comes with a 120 GB Hardrive which doubles the PS3 ( 60 GB ) model. and who ever said u need a HD dvd player for the 360... THE ELITE COMES WITH IT! just because the ps3 has uses more advance tech in the graphics doesn't make the 360 suks!
and the game making companies like ea games and insomniac and others, can't figure out a way to display the full power out of the ps3 at all. thats why when u look at the back of a ps3 games u see a bar under the writing of the game, it shows the reselution display. and plus theres actually only one, i repeat ONE OR 4 AT THE MAX ps3 title that can actually play full HD ( 1080 p x 1920P ) games. and it's been a year after the release of the sony's PS3 and still no titles can really play full HD. so apparently the 360 wins in almost every catagorey. if u love online play buy 360... if ur an idiot then go ahead and but the ps3 now. and if u don't noe wich one to buy wait for some games to come out for PS3 and then do your research. and u choose.

Ps3 may not be better than Xbox 360 for now in popularity but soon will take over Xbox 360 in the future because of Blu Ray HD it goes like this
CD=DVD=BluRay etc....it's best to stick to the future so i'm asking people to own ps3 itz more money worth it. You bring up a good point, ever since the 360 has launched all versions of it have fallen to the Red Ring of Death. Microsoft has been doing a real good job of covering that up, but what they really should be doing is trying to fix the problem. What its been 2 years now and this is still a big problem for the 360? Well no thanks, I've had a friend go though two 360's already and is waiting the next 4 weeks for the 3rd one to get repaired, sure its free under warranty but whats he going to do the next 4 weeks? Defiantly not playing Halo 3. Well this is not the case with PS3, they've only had minor problems and are very reliable, and quiet which is nice, plus I don't have to carry around a huge power brick when ever I take my PS3 to a friend's house.
I currently have 3 xbox 360 premiums. One for each of my 2 kids and one for me. We are networked and have sperate online accounts for xbox live. Right next to my 360 sits a ps3. I am very demanding of my audio and visual as well as the gaming. I have been a gamer all of my life(36 years old now)and I would pick the xbox 360 over the ps3 anyday. For those of you who don't already know xbox live blows away the ps3 online. The ps3 is only used for blu-ray movies now. I have a choice when games come out on both platforms,and allways buy the 360 version!
call me when a game like Gears of War comes out for the PS3 - so far the xbox 360 is better - even only if it has games made for it and ported to PS3 it doesnt matter - the games at this point are better - Madden 08? isnt it kinda obvious?
I own a 360. ive sent it back two times. it was made porly. and for all of the halo lovers, dont forget most of the limited halo 3's were scrached. ps3 is my next system. and dont forget blockbuster has only blu-ray. blu-ray will destroy hd.

Well I have to say, There are four reasons to buy the Xbox 360 ELITE.
1PS3 has less games than the XBox 360!
2Xbox360 Elite has the best online service!
3XBox360 Elite has better graphics for ego shooter and fight games!
4XBox360 Elite Is a lot cheaper and you can allways buy extra stuff to make it better!
5PS3 needs a HD or sony TV to have good graphics and Xbox360 Elite doesn't!
It is true PS3 is in techno much better and you don't need to buy extra stuff to improve.
I think people who look for fun and want to save money but in the same time get the best graphics, I would go for the XBox360 Elite.
It is fact that XBox 360 sold loads more that PS3 and due to this has more games. Sony will get more games which are great.
If you had a Ps2 with loads of games sell the games!!!!!

I have researched into both the ps3 and xbox 360 elite for about 5 months now and i seriously hated the xbox n loved the ps3 and when i mean love , boy do i mean love. i have seen both the consoles played and played them both several times on a full hd tv using PS3 Home and xbox live and seriously the ps3 is bullsh**. It aint got anything good but the xbox is good. and i mean good because its fast and better. graphics are both exzactly the same, xbox controllers better than ps3s controller because its easier to hold. ps3 looks better though overall.
basically, if ur a new gamer, that has som heavy cash, and dont have a computer or blu ray dvd player and only play games once a year or so and dont really care bout wot u play n how much u pay then u should go 4 the ps3
or if its the other way around and u like palyn qulity games and want to use wot a computer is inteended for and a games consle 4 wot agames console is intended 4 then go for the king - xbox 360 elite.

Well the xbox360 has the best games, and in the end if the PS3 has better graphics but no games so how good can it really be? This is why the xbox360 is the superior cosole, that and the fact that is has out sold the PS3 8-1, and now the wii 4-1.

well i have no loyalties to any console, i had a ps2 but when i got the xbox it pissed all over the ps2. the graphics were more rounded with no dodgy lines. now having looked at both the 360 and the ps3 it looks like the ps3 still has these old lines in the background.
the controllers on the ps3 are shite aswell.they feel light and cheap. im swinging towards the 360 i think!!
The 360 is the way to go. It has a 50 dollar online fee and the ps3 is free. Which one do you think is better the one you pay for or the one you get for free. Even though the 360 has a 33 percent failure rate you can still ship it in and get it fixed for free with the 3 year warrenty. Plus if you wanna wach blue-ray movies get blue-ray movie player for your tv. These consoles were made for top of the line gaming not for watching movies

well... my brother has the playstation 3 and i have the xbix 360 elite. i personally think the xbox is small, bigger memory and has better games however i also think the graphics on the playstation 3 are very good but i think the xbox elite is an amazing console

As far as overall graphics and performance, majority of experts say the PS3 throws a more powerful punch but hasn't stepped into the ring yet if you get my point. I agree with the lineup though PS3 lacks in gaming enjoyment minus Warhawk. But to get a Blu-ray player that doubles as a future kick ass gaming machine it's well worth it especially for the new $399 price!
