Total Console pre-built Wii mod "I-case" is shiny, but so 1998
Hey, we've got nothing against LED abundance, or even a bit of translucency here or there to let the light shine through, but we're not sure we're quite ready to relive those heady "design revolution" years of '98-'00, where shiny, see through, iMac-inspired gadgets reigned supreme. At least this I-case Wii mod isn't bondi blue, or we just might have to quit the biz. The good news is Total Console is selling this mod as a kit for a mere $45, so you won't have any more blood on your hands than is already implied.

Blue LED's are so last century. White LED's are where the hotness is now.

hmmm that would be pretty cool =)

Blue LEDs makes it 'cool'... apparently
But at least it's a change from the 'Apple'-esqe designs

But everybody knows that flames add 10-15 fps...
Mr. Vage @ Apr 26th 2007 8:19PM
Liar! I tested that and the heat caused my frame rate to go down. It soon hit 0 fps shortly before my curtains went into a marvelous blaze. It stopped being beautiful when my skin started burning. Now I'm dead thanks to you.

The new cool is clashing colored LEDs on the biggest fan you can fit on something.
So maybe a 180mm fan with orange and blue LEDs :D

While looking at this, I thought of that I should put LEDs underneath my car. That'd be cool? As long as they were BLUE MIRITE?

One word: fugly
I don't want things glowing at me when I'm trying to play video games. I'm one of those people who disconnects all the LED's I can on my 'pimp' gaming hardware like power supplies, cases, HDD enclosures, etc. These bright little buggers (especially the blue ones) make the whole room glow. I currently have 6 LEDs covered up with black electrical tape so i can sleep at night. Does noone else share my pain?

@ Mike,
If you ever taken any art class, you would probably realize that blue and orange are in fact complementary colors, and thus do not clash. It would be worse had the LED's been brown and yellow or something, because of the fact they each connote bodily functions, and clash more than blue and orange. wtf.
