Creative's next DAP: the Zen Stone?

Honestly, not a whole lot of Zennin' has been going on since we witnessed Creative's mammoth display at CES, but according to Eipzenenter, the next one is just a stone's throw away. The presumably small, flash-based DAP should be dubbed the Zen Stone, and while it hasn't been confirmed, we can probably expect a roundish motif. Unsurprisingly, Creative will likely be giving us a plethora of colors to choose from, including black, red, pink, white, dark blue, and lime, and you won't have to look far to find the corresponding armband, skin, or keychain attachment. Word on the street is that this one will demand a mere $50 for the 1GB rendition, and while curiosity may be keeping you up at night, the official release date should happen sometime next month.

Yeah.. I was wondering about "Eipzenter"... I thought it must be some kind of European site with a name only Germans would get...
Epizenter makes perfect sense, even if it is a stupid play on words...

Creative still makes MP3 Players?
Creative simply dominates the market of DAPs in Eastern Europe. Basically anyone who has a DAP over there has a Creative.
It's amusing how any post on engadget about any MP3 player except the iPod is positively dripping with snide.
I've loved my Zen Xtra and its still going strong. Might pick this one up if the 1GB model will indeed only be $50.
I used a Zen Stone on a Sleek, and it evolved into a Vision:M!

I still have my old Zen Micro which works well, but i'm on the lookout for a new dap or pmp or something ... but i'm guessing that this Zen Stone might resemble Sony's Bean... i hope not
1gb 50 bucks and if it has bluetooth 2.0 ill buy it
My first MP3 Player was a Creative and I loved it dearly.
I was boycotting Apple (it really put a dent in their market share)
but I kind of sold out to Apple in the end...
I still check on their site every so often to see what new products they have.

I work at Walmart and have seen it in person. The only color we got in was black and we're going to sell it for around $33 at 1 GB. Should be up for sale at most Walmarts by the second week of May. They are slightly larger than the new shuffle but smoothed out edges with a nice gloss.

I bought the stone last night and there is no download/driver on the website yet. It doesn't even recognize the damn thing. I only spent $38 but if they don't respond to my emails I'm taking it back to Wally world..
hii navygirl, you also got the zen stone? I have got the player and it worked straight away in my laptop. Perhaps you could try it on another usb port on your computer and ensure that your computer is having the minimum system requirement needed by the player. It should work. If not, you can try your player on another computer. Hope it helps. By the way, which colour did you get??
