Which Olevia? I bought a 237 and it only came with an ATSC tuner. Once I discovered the lack of QAM, I returned it. Plus, the sound was distorted. Too bad, because it had a great picture and was very reasonable. Guess I know why now.
the 37" Olevia uses an entirely different processing engine. 32" and under use the ATI and the 37" use the "MTK MDDI Technology". Maybe that is the difference.
Originally they did say QAM tuner but since I purchased my TV they have removed all instances of QAM from every TV line even current 5 and 7 series.

Are you sure you didn't buy a 337? The 3 series does not have the QAM tuner but the 2 series does.

The 227 S11 has a NTSC/ATSC/QAM tuner
