Updated Toshiba Gigabeat U lands in Japan
It was only a couple weeks ago we introduced Toshiba's new Gigabeat U U101 / U201 players, but that certainly didn't stop them from rushing out the U102 / U202. Practically speaking they're about the same: 1 and 2GB of flash memory, FM tuner, PlaysForSure support, etc., but this time around you're going to have to pay a little more for the extra sexy: ¥14,800 (~$125) and ¥17,800 (~$150). Lands May 19th for expats and jetsetters across the pacific.

I like the black one.....But this sure doesn't beat my Clix 2 ^_^
That's a rather small screen compared with the size of the device. That black rectangle helps disguising it a bit... until you turn it on, I guess.
Music collections get bigger and bigger and companies keep releasing small capacity daps and pmps.
Gigabeat U, huh. If Ike and Tina were still together, this is the DAP he'd get her. ^_^
I can't wait until they remove the cross, add teh click CIRCLE, paint it "POOP BROWN" and call it the Zune NANO. It'll be nice.
To Phillip Donley: Toshiba was the first Zune manufacturers
