or a mac, with native raw/psd/pdf support, i couldnt cope without that personally
I would NEVER buy another Epson product. Once is enough.
Yeah... not even for wedding photogs, a decent laptop with a fast firewire hard drive does most of them just fine. Most of them use an online service like Pictage for prints, cause let's face it, the margins on the wedding business are thin enough without buying an overpriced bundle and printer you won't use.

As if to say we wedding photographers are a slothful, lazy bunch? Huh? Engadget, I'm sure you just pissed off a bunch of wedding photogs with this comment.

No way I'll stick with my Mac Pro Adobe CS3,30-inch Apple Cinema HD Display and Hasselblad H3D-39... Sorry but this set up is for Amateurs.
why is what I presume to be a webcam dangling down in front of the monitor?
It's used to calibrate your monitor so what you print looks closer to what you see on the screen.
Ahh, sounds handy.
They're very handy. The difference between my LCD out of the box and post-calibration is unbelievable. Hell, I even calibrated my PVR. TV looks much prettier now.
