Kingston planning to reveal DDR3 HyperX RAM at Computex
Last last year, Kingston unveiled its then-blazing fast HyperX DDR2 RAM modules, and just as you're finally paying those couple of 2GB kits off, the same company is apparently planning to up the ante. Reportedly, Kingston is looking to reveal its 512MB / 1GB DDR3 1500MHz HyperX and DDR2 800MHz low latency memory modules at Computex, which should play nicely with Intel's DDR3-friendly Bearlake chipset. The DIMMs are expected to be "nearly twice as fast (over 20Gbps) as today's highest speed DDR2 counterparts," and the lower voltage (1.5v compared to 1.8v) claims to provide a "more efficient memory solution for both mobile and server platforms." Of course, pricing and availability deets weren't fleshed out just yet, but the second week in June isn't too far away.[Via Gizmag]
Update: Despite statements to the contrary, Kingston pinged to say it's not debuting any SSD drives at Computex! The nerve!

Price searches of Corsair's slower XMS3 DDR3 (same stuff used in the review of the Bearlake-based Asus board elinked earlier today) put it at around $600 for 2GB. I can only imagine the premium the 1500MHz modules will demand. Yeesh.
this right here is the reason I stopped being a PC gamer and bought an XBOX360 & PS3.
you buy all this RAM memory to upgrade computers that many times are incompatible with it (my friend tried putting 2 GB of high speed memory in his Vaio and the whole sh!t crashed) and for the most part, you never see dramatic enhancements of performance.
I shouldn't need to use a benchmark test to find out how much more work my PC is doing... I expect it to literaly blow my chair apart while I'm playing my games.
haha I'm glad that not knowing anything about computers or RAM didn't stop you from posting Big. The price will drop as always.
@Big: You remind me of someone I work with. He likes to brag about the XBox to try to hide his incompetence about computers.
Dear Sir / Madam,
hope to be fine, we are in need of 5000 pcs mobile RAM from China, is it possible fr u?
