The e-blue i-phone: the other, other iPhone
Considering all the legal fisticuffs thrown over the "iPhone" trademark, e-blue is certainly taking their chances with this, the -- you guessed it -- i-phone. Seriously, that's the best they could do? Better yet Cisco fans (and general counsel), it's a VoIP phone just like Cisco's. We won't bother going into all the Skype-compatible specs until Cisco legal has had their fun. Really, what's the point? [Thanks, Anthony Y.]

Just another pointless corded USB phone...*yawn*
ugly sonofabitch
The eBlue i-Phone has been in existence for some time and long before every Apple fanboy's wet dream was announced as the Apple iPhone. I had one about 18 months ago.
Is it really such a slow news day that engadget have to dredge up old products to try and make a news story. Frankly, I'm quite disappointed.
No article about Appl/iPhone related news is complete without some fanbois/flamers. Allow me to provide a summary:
Fanboi: iPhone rulez!
Flamer: iPhone is teh suxor!111!

Actually, I just remembered, I blogged about it when I got it. The blog has since "died", but it's still in Google's cache: http://216.239.59.104/search?q=cache:LxfCDIqiso0J:blog.polyceta.com/archive/2006/01/20/648.aspx%3FAjax_CallBack%3Dtrue%26Ajax_CallBack%3Dtrue+phone+site:polyceta.com&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=uk The post is dated January 20th 2006!
