They may not boast a name like the "
F-Bomb," but Eurocom's new all-in-one LV190 and LV220 ViiVA systems look like they should be able to garner a fair bit of attention on their own. Boasting 19- and 22-inch widescreen displays, respectively, the systems can be configured with your choice of Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Extreme processors, NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 graphics, a max 4GB of RAM, up to two 500GB hard drives, and an internal TV tuner, among other options. Knocking things down a notch, however, is the somewhat lackluster 1680 x 1050 resolution on the 22-inch display, and an even lower 1440 x 900 on the 19-incher. If that's not a deal breaker for ya', you can get your order in now, with systems starting around $1,500 and going up considerably as you pack on the upgrades.
I am very impressed. It took 2 years for the PC industry to discover the iMac concept. Let's hope Apple copyrighted their design and will sue these incompetant makers.
I would like to know why on Earth, a computer user would prefer these Wintel PCs instead of a near-to-perfect iMac that are not so expensive after all. Also, I will not be surprised if the new iMac to be announced later this year will not kill these unborn devices.
The not so expensive ones are the low to mid-end models (like the MacBook); there's quite a gap between MacBook and MacBook Pro.
Of course, I wouldn't mind switching if someone can confirm that Adobe CS3 runs a lot better on the Intel Mac than Windows PC.

As an IT Techie I've dealt with just as many iMac problems as PC problems (in percentage). Yes they may look prettier but my god the OS UI is crap. Get your head out of Apple's bum hole.
if this was a touch screen unit with presure sensitivity, and a virtual, on screen keyboard... it would be simply killer for artist...
I'm sorry, but just how does the author define 1680x1050 "lackluster" for a 22" screen? That is simply the standard resolution for 20-22" widescreen lcd's...........doh!! Same goes for the 19" widescreen.
Engadget's articles have been somewhat lacking in spelling, depth, and correctness as of late. Can't find a good witty comment to throw in? Then DON'T!
Copycat of Sony's LS series???
sure the LS comes only in 19" but it sure looks like it:
