MSI's Bluetooth-equipped MS-5552 DAP goes 50 hours nonstop
Looks like Aigo's A215 finally has some decent competition, as MSI's recently announced MS-5552 digital audio player matches the purported battery life minute for minute, but requires just a single AAA battery rather than the more traditional AA cell. Additionally, the larger, more vivid screen sure helps the MSI's appearance, but we're fairly certain that activating the built-in Bluetooth will knock those hours down in a hurry. Still, the aluminum alloy enclosure, D-pad styled controls, and integrated wireless functions aren't anything to sneeze at, but unfortunately MSI isn't so willing to unveil pricing and availability details just yet.[Via FarEastGizmos]

That's a nice bit of kit, especially the vivid screen. Impressive getting 50 hours out of one AAA too, although I'm sure that using the screen even for short amounts of time would knock those times right on the head. Either way, gotta love the bluetooth. Some iSkin Cerulean's would pair up well!

Finally an mp3 player with built-in Bluetooth. But just like the others that have been announced, lets see if it ever actually ships.

Insignia has a Bluetooth MP3 player at Best Buy if you weren't aware. It's actually quite a good player and well priced.

Bluetooth for audio playback, right? But Bluetooth is so prone to interference in my experience.. Ah well! At least it's not for data transfer. That would be horrible.

Psht. 50 hours? The iAudio M5 does ~55 (if you remember to install Rockbox :) ), and that's been around for aaages!

That looks disgusting, good luck to MSI - what a waste of time this will turn out to be.
