Take G's wooden robot toys
Those looking for a little robot companionship but wary of them potentially turning on you when you least expect it may want to consider the latest creations from Japan's Take G, which boast plenty of style without any of that pesky "technology." From the looks of it, there's plenty of different stationary contraptions to choose from, ranging in size from just a couple of inches to over two feet tall. Unfortunately, there's no word on pricing or availability, although we're fairly certain they won't come cheap, if they're even for sale at all.[Via Boing Boing]

Still not as good as Jim K's log - there's a technologically bereft toy I'd play with for hours.
"Bite my splintery wooden ass!" -- Bender
They are incredible... I want them all!
Pinocchio! Is that you!?
...what happened to your nose?
It says: "Crafts/the work has become sale in only of private exhibition"
I passed it through babelfish. I'm guessing they're not for sale.
Man, I really want one of those... I do hope they go on sale in the future.
First though I had was Wooden Bender on Futurama *sigh* I am a geek
Not to bash the toys here (they're very cool), but what sort of retarded name will be coined for shit like this? Woodpunk? Treepunk? I guess they don't move or anything, so maybe it's irrelevant. I'm just tired of hearing the word "steampunk", I guess...
