Sprint Mogul spotted in the wild, release looks impending
Well lookee what we have here: a Sprint PPC-6800, better known as the Mogul, sitting in the palm of what is no doubt one very pleased Howard Forums user. Now we're no analysts or nothin', but we'd suggest that the availability of this Apache-successor through Brightpoint bodes well for the June 18th launch date that Engadget Mobile caught wind of last week. Wait, isn't that tomorrow? Click through to catch the retail packaging...

*Cries* I can't afford it.
And it looks so cool.

I see way too many of these devices coming out recently. I suppose its because the companies KNOW that when the Apple Iphone drops --- its gonna shut everything else down.
I doubt many people - especialy ipod patrons are gonna go for antything other than an Iphone if they can possibly afford it.
Because HTC only started making PDA phones when apple announced the iPod... wowowowowowowowowo do you even think before you post?

lol @ the stupidity of this comment.
Wow, the Mac Masses Are Asses. Full of it and themselves. Ignorance is Bliss I suppose.
I'd like an iPhone too. The problem is that it is tied with one carrier, and I am a Sprint customer. I'm not dropping my carrier just because of a phone, no matter how cool it may be. And I'm an Apple fan, who happens to be typing this from my Mac Mini, which I love. I also own an iPod Mini. AND to top it all off I'm not happy with Palm right now since I'm a 700p owner who thinks they've done a lousy job with this expensive phone and with the support of the phone. Still, I would look at this HTC phone on Sprint before I'd switch carriers just to own the iPhone. Maybe in 5 years when they can open up to other carriers Apple can get my business then!
That's my thinking exactly Jack. I wish though it was $150 cheaper so I can get it off my deduction plan.

you think that's cool? the hand model has three fingers!!!
that's the tmobile wing.. in disguise. Spitting image of the tmobile wing.. why bother to switch then?
Because the Wing is GSM? Or because the Wing is only 200MHz? Or that the Wing doesn't do 3G?
The Wing is a real entry level cheap HTC device, the Mogul is a more high end device, in the realm of the TyTN.
I wonder if phones like these will be able to function as Slide Show devices for Windows Vista. They're pretty much the same form factor, and they've got bluetooth. Seems like the only question is if MS is smart enough to make it work.
The answer is: Of course not! It's Microsoft!

Man ... to snatch this up, or wait for the Kaiser ... I just don't know what to do.
the phone is up on sprints site already. fyi.
Your ignorance allows you to consider me a MAC fanboy. On the contrary - I HATE MAC, APPLE , IPODS and everything else they ever made with a passion.
However...
Intelligence tells me that people will be willing to pay big money for the Iphone thus pushing it into high status on ebay and stores with them in stock.
This 4-fingered pudgy freak-hand doesn't look nearly as attractive as the hand (Jesus'?) holding the iphone..... think I'll get the iphone.
Is there an arm attached to that hand? And no fingernails....spooky.
this phone has been online since last night at Sprint.com I ordered one already although their website is batshiat crazy right now and charged me two charges totally almost $1000 for it to my CC then credited my account $607.
I'm going to give them hell as it overan my check account (payed with CC debit card).
