USB hub opens letters, wakes you up
Never again will you have to suffer the pitiable indignation of owning a USB hub which only has one lowly "hubbing" function. Enter the Shenzhen Sunstars USB hub, letter opener, and alarm clock. Yeah, we know you have actual hands for doing things like opening letters, and a phone or watch for alarms, but are either of those things self-powered with four USB 2.0 ports? We thought not.

If it came with an electric shaver it would be useful

useful for both e and snail mail! and i can use the alarm to wake me up when the mail gets here! of course i could just do things the old fashioned way, but what fun would that be?

The fact that this takes batteries is a big turn off for me, why couldn't it plug into a USB port and be powered that way, shame.
Vinay @ Jun 23rd 2007 7:42AM
The batteries are prolly only for keeping the time on the clock, when the usb power goes off.
Daniel D @ Jun 23rd 2007 7:44AM
I certainly hope so Vinay....I certainly hope so...

How long until a sleepy user slides their fingers into the letter opener as they fumble for the snooze button?
monkfishbandana @ Jun 23rd 2007 11:44AM
Oh dear. Would wake them up though.

Pay attention, you geek like me (yes I am) that want to buy something by usbgeek.com: I ordered some nice stuff in late june and I still not received anything - now we are in august. The problem is that they ship products without a trackable shipping method, so MAYBE they really sent to me the package, but they don't know where it is. I wrote a lot of emails, receiving answer only to a few of them, so I also am afraid that they don't really want to help me to resolve the problem.
USBGEEK.COM, are you listening via GOOGLE ALERT? I payed you for the produts with my credit card. I have to ask you bak money or you are going to send me your stuff again?
