Yeah, we're about as sick of hearing complaints about the glut of iPhone news as you probably are sick of reading iPhone posts on the site -- so let's meet in the middle. Before you go totally nuts and decide to seek us out and slap us upside the head, here are the Yahoo Pipes feeds we whipped up last week -- use 'em to opt out of the Apple and/or iPhone news. these guys are just whiners! im not sick of it at all. i mean, really. what did u expect? its one of the most anticipated devices ever!
An iPhone is hardly the most anticipated device EVER. I think you are confusing it with the wheel, or the little bags that make breast implants possible.
The iPhone will be pretty cool I'm sure, but so were parachute pants (but before I die I'm sure I will have had owned both of these items).
Of course its the most anticipated device ever. Trust me, you do NOT want to see the device that wins the popularity contest with the iPhone. Don't confuse anticipation (from people other than you) with merit, and you'll do ok. There's quite a few people who can't wait for iPhone to arrive, just so people can stop speculating and sounding the drum. Love or hate it, it has nothing to do with that claim. I can't think of another device SO fussed over, that the sub-group of people who DIDN'T want to hear about it, were given solutions to weather out the "STORM" of incessant news, on MULTIPLE blog sites! Really.
What about if you just want to go to the site normally but not see iPhone stuff?

Or simply get a life. Every day I have to see stuff I'd rather not... Be it a co-worker, a "clever" bumper sticker on an oversized American SUV or a fat lady in stretch pants. However, part of being an adult is that I just go on with my day without whining like a little bitch.
Even when sh!t I didn't care about and have no intention of ever buying dominated this site (Vista, the Wii, that thousand dollar keyboard, whatever...), I didn't complain. I simply scrolled past those articles and got on with it.
Geat a life, dude. It's just teh Internets.

Oh My God! Get over it! I could care less about every time Dell releases a monitor or virtual Chinese bubble wrap. But I have this crazy special power though; I quickly "scan" over text and judging by the words that catch my eye, I decide if I want to read it or if I just merely want to move on to the next post. Crazy huh?
i think people complain too much, we get tired of hearing about paris hilton too but you just ignore it and read other news its not that hard. if i owned this site i would just tell them to suck on it and ignore it if they dont like it, god people are so wierd. i bet the hits on this site are higher now than they have been in a while because of the iphone news so they have a site to run and to skip an article is not that hard and will only take 1 second on your pathetic lifes so lighten up.
Because the site would be so much more dynamic and enjoyable if everyone expressed a balanced, middle of the road meh sentiment towards everything.

I still say, keep the iPhone posts short, and place the entire story on Engadget Mobile...what's the point have both blogs if you are going to post the same stuff in both....I don't mind the iPhone posts, but keep it in one of the other blogs not both...

it is still biased "semi-journalism" on your part though .. if i post something like that it will not have NEARLY the weight as when one of the nominated "50 people who matter now" bestest buddies post it.
Yeah, some people just have a childishh reaction to any news regarding Apple.
But since Engadget has caterred to the whinners...

I am just wondering why Yahoo has to bad mouth APPLE. I know you are now aware of how stupid you look yahoo is doing so well! Is it? You stock is trading at How much? $27.56 APPLE is Trading at $119.90. Huge Gap. You have not new product coming out. The ppl that are apple users are loyal because Apple is honest and user friendly company. Remmber They brought you a Control remote with the G5 and ibook as well as Power book all computers they made after 2005 have a remote control to use with picx, music videos, and DVDS. My computer is my TV my Computer my day planner my stereo my whole life can be perfectly and conveniently run from my computer., I am not tire of hearing about this iPhone. I am getting one for myself, one for my Boyfriend and one for my sister. It is comparable with my computer and my address book, my music library. It would finally synch my life. This blog is Nothing but a negativity from people that cannot come out with their own innovating product.
I feel sorry for you!
