iPhones are arriving at stores, being unpacked
Prospective iPhone line standers hoping to start the wave when the FedEx truck rolls up are gonna have to come up with some other plan for glory -- looks like iPhones have already started arriving at Apple and AT&T stores, which we can confirm with multiple sources at various retail spots. Even though El Jobso banned cameras from the backrooms of iPhone outlets, an overzealous employee just posted some pics in the MacRumors forum of an iPhone in just such a spot. Too bad Sunshine McBrilliant included his obvious wrist tattoo in a couple of these pics -- maybe he can list "blurry cameraphone photography" on his resume when he starts looking for a new job tomorrow.

The formula for an iPhone post's comments:
1. heh! Meh firstz post!!1!
2. Well, the iPhone sucks anyways and I am sick of hearing about it and other phones are cooler.
3. Go use the iPhone-less feed, dumbass.
4. [other phones] do stuff this phone doesn't do, and even though I don't use any of those features ever, this phone sucks cos it doesn't have them.
5. Busines people will not buy this phone.
6. you are all a bunch of dumbass trolls, skip the post if you don't like it
7. Apple will introduce a bunch of features in a software update, you'll see
8. I hate anyone who likes Apple products
9. What's an iPhone?
10. The Nokia N95, which I won't bother to say is only $150 more, has a better camera, and I don't have one of those either.
11. It's 'business', not 'busines' you nitwit
12. You Steve Jobs worshipers drink the kool-aid, anyone who likes Apple must be a sheep, and anyone who likes Windows couldn't possibly be (-?-)
13. I can't get laid, so I'll make some objectifying comment about any female I see in a picture on here
14. a smartass comment that I cut and paste on every single iPhone article
15. haha, you can't cut and paste, losers - I have to grasp onto anything I can to put you people down
16. I am observant, so I must inform the world that the guy in line in NY is overweight
17. I'm going to call commenters retarded, which is an insult to the more-intelligent people who actually are
18. A repeat of a comment that's already been made
19. Well all you apple people said the zune sucked, so I wanna say something Apple sucks.
20. If you all hate it so much, why do you keep reading it and posting on it?
21. because we don't iCare. ha! See how clever I am? I made it an insult by using a lowercase 'i'.
22. But it doesn't have this feature that I want, so I won't be buying one.
23. um, okay, good for you.
24. I need attention; I am not going to buy one until it is gen 2 or 3. And I'm going to say something about my iPod.
(repeat until it gets to like 100 posts, then start all over on the next iPhone article which should be posted by then).
Hey thanks! I was running out of things to auto-post.
Damn, I forgot some... it's sad that thunderstorms have reduced me to this...
25. Since the iPhone's service plan starts nighttime minutes at 9 pm like every other plan, it sucks.
26. I can't afford it, so therefore it's too expensive.
27. it's inconceivable that anyone could say anything good about it because they actually like it. if they say they like it, they're wrong.
27a. Inconceivable!!! :)
28. something or other about 'apple apologists'
29. [troll who posts on every single iPhone article]
30. I can't be bothered to read. Does it do (whatever feature is explicitly stated in the article)?
31. I predict that it will fail because everyone will run in horror at the non-swappable battery, because everyone I know carries 2-3 batteries on them and changes them constantly
32. 3g blah blah blah
33. I won't pay $xxxx for two years of service, even though if I looked at my current cell phone bill I probably already am (if not more)
34. newtons failed, haha!
35. Activation fee? just because every company does this (even if it's 'waived' as part of a 'deal'), I am outraged that it is somehow not different from every other freaking cell phone you'd ever buy.
36. touchscreens suck, because I don't like them.
37. I can't actually be happy for anyone else who's happy and who makes a decision for themselves. I must tell them how wrong they are to want something I don't want, how dumb they are for being different than me.
In other news the iPhone gave birth to a new baby boy.
I am sportin a full 3 inches of Asian wood right now
Did anyone else notice that the wire to the earbuds are transluscent (or see thru for you 8 year olds)
I though that too initially, however Its actually white, it only appears translucent in the photo. If you look at the enlarged version from the source site, you can see it is just a shadow.
aww now my sarcasm is not amusing to me anymore. But thanks for pointing that out. But I think I need my eyes checked because it doesnt look white to me. Oh well this comment was pointless then since I dont really care anymore. *Sigh* now I have to get my ODU uniform ready for JROTC. This uniform is really cool.
*end of worthless waste of space*
Jeez, sounds like a lot of people aren't happy with their zunes. Oh, wait, pfff, nevermind...
The iphone will either be the greatest phone ever or a big flop. I'm not getting one but my crazy friend Vania is in on the action. Last I heard from her she was camping out and first in line. She's doing a daily video blog about and so far she looks like she's losing it. You can watch her get it here: http://www.amazingcointrick.com/vania
Sunshine McBrilliant works at the San Leandro, Calif. AT&T outlet, and is seen here with the pre-activated demo which will be used tomorrow to familiarize all of the store's employees with it. Be sure to come and say hi! If she still works there, that is.
AAHHHHHHH!!!
I DON'T CARE!!!!! WHOO-HOO, the thing showed up at stores. Wow, that's news.
FYI - I own a mac, can be quoted as a "mac fanboy", but damn, who cares...
First of all, why the hell would you WANT to use T-Mobile? Okay, over AT&T and Cingular they seem much better, but... T-Mobile, dude... =(
Second, don't worry, with the iPhones popularity there'll be a lot of hardware hacking going on, give it about half a year and the iPhone will be unlockable by everyone and their mothers.
iPhone users are glued to their devices…everywhere there is an iPhone to be found, there are at least a handful of people looking over the owner’s shoulder to see how it works. go2, a mobile, local search engine, has more than 350 mobile websites that have been enhanced for use over AT&T’s EDGE network, simplifying use and providing a dynamic experience. go2 sites are full screen, flashy and simple to navigate, with many single-click applications. With stylish looks and an ease of use, go2’s network of mobile sites (which includes go2 Movies, go2 Dining, go2 Golf and go2 Colleges) are quickly becoming a popular destination for iPhone users.
