But you're not buying this based on specs alone now are you. Limited production run of 1,000 units begins "this fall." Prepare.

If I'm buying it for geek cred, why is the projector lens his video input lens, instead of his spiffy projector "nozzle," as featured in three of the six movies.

Those exposed rubber tubes near the lower end of R2D2's "legs" have always seemed to me to be a serious (and potentially fatal) design flaw.

What they don't tell you is that the thing won't just project whatever you want to. It'll play you a short loop of a dvd and then demand that you take off its restraining bolt.
