Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"We need a digital camera that can be switched on and fire off that first shot fast. It's not a commonly tracked statistic on any review site, and nobody seems to have this information for every camera. We were hoping other readers could inform us as to what small digital cameras can fire off their first pics in under a second (ideally under half a second). It needs to be small, but mostly, just really quick in operation. Thanks!"
Ultimate Ears headphones don't work either...
My question is this, will they release an adapter that will plug into the headphone port, then have a clicker (like on the supplied headphones) that you can use to a) plug into the port and b) add the remote capabilities.
Kind of like they included with the 3G iPods, where the headphones plugged into the short remote cable, which clipped on your jacket/shirt/etc.
Sure has released a product like the one you're looking for.
I went to the Shure website, and saw a few that have volume controls on the set, but I was talking about one where you adjust volume AND change the track playing...
ultimate ears owners, all headphones come with a small black piece that you might want to consider finding and getting out of your box; its a black adapter for airplanes that cuts the volume about 1/3 to protect the sensitive drivers. It is L-shaped but fits on the iPhone and has a small wire so you can move it around.
Simple shave a tad of plastic from the end of the bose connector on your headset and this will allow you to plug into the iphone jack completely. Then all works well... very simple procedure. Do not need to buy any adapters etc...
See http://iphone.macworld.com/2007/07/minor_surgery_enables_bose_hea.php as many people have done this. Took me all of 1 minute with a pocket knife!
