iPhone first hands-on video in HD!

Other sites have shown YouTube playing on EDGE, and its surprisingly snappy. I can confirm this. It's modem speed, but perfectly acceptable for most average browsing.

I'm finding EDGE to be quite acceptable. Most web pages aren't really all that big. The main difference from my Treo is that it's actually practical to browse most websites with the iPhone's Safari. Blazer looks like a piece of junk in comparison.

I just bought one and regardless of all the negative comments, which I agree with some, playing with the phone is an absolutely amazing experience. Mesmerizing. You can't stop wanting to rub your finger on the screen to have it interact. Reminds me so much of my first exposure to the Mac OS back in 1984. Worth every penny.

Hey the keyboard is really not that big of a deal. Yes, to some it sucks, but after a little practice it's fine. It has corrective typing for little mistakes too. You will get to the point of using two thumbs; and unless you are aiming to complete an essay quickly, you'll be perfectly fine. I switched from predictive text to this iphone's keyboard and i have had no problem at all.
