My iTunes still says "Please wait while ATT is activating..... it has been like that for a long time now..... I got an email saying that I will get another when it activates....
will the iTunes thing change to finish the setup or what ? Should I wait it out ?

Mine was like that and it changed after 20 minutes.
It will then allow you to continue the updating!
I love my new iPhone!
