Steorn's Orbo "free-energy" machine demonstrated!

Here we go, after months of doubt over claims of a magnetic machine promising "infinite clean energy," Steorn will be putting their wares on display for public scrutiny in London. A physics defying perpetual machine, if you will. Starting tomorrow, rumor has it that the Kinetica museum will host the Orbo device for a ten day long public demonstration of the technology. We're expecting a formal announcement at 6pm 11pm London (1pm 6pm New York). iPhone shmiPhone, this is going to be good.

Update 1: Still nothing from Steorn yet, but Irish RTE News has also "confirmed" the impending announcement. Moreover, a "very simplified version" of the technology will be viewable by streaming media over the Intertubes. So get ready kids, they say you'll be able to watch janky video of a prototype "lifting a weight" from four different angles starting at 6pm London Eastern Time. Otherwise, you can view the device live at Kinetica from Thursday 5 July to Friday 13 July.

Update 3: CEO Sean McCarthy tells SilconRepublic how it works. Namely, the time variance in magnetic fields allows the Orbo platform to "consistently produce power, going against the law of conservation of energy which states that energy cannot be created or destroyed." He goes on to say "It's too good to be true but it is true. It will have such an impact on everything we do. The only analogy I can give is if you had absolute proof that God wasn't real." Whoa. Update 4: Well, 6pm London time has come and gone. However, Steorn's site now says that the video will go live at 6pm "Eastern Time." Apparently, their demo is aimed at the US. A fossil-fuel Independence Day? Riiiiight.

Update 5: Jeebus, what a non-event. Even though they wield supreme control over the laws of physics, Steorn had to cancel tonight's event "due to technical difficulties." We'd laugh if it wasn't so pathetically tragic. The live stream is now rescheduled ambiguously to the 5th July. Now move along folks, there's nothing to see here.

This free energy thing reminds me of the time I tried to levitate off my garage roof. I was using a 150 lb electro magnet that I connected to the house fuse box. My wife was laughing and called me a dumb ass! So I showed her, I jumped off the roof and as I was about to levitate the fuse box blew. My now X wife is still laughing along with her lawyer who both call me a 'dumb ass' I get no respect!

"Our's" has been working "just fine" for well over four hours now!!! We did have to use Steorn's fan cooling idea though to overcome the lighting and resulting thermodynamic heat problem. But "we" have four hours of trouble free operation now!!

Tried for that webcam thing... But USB cable lengths to the cam, bandwidth, and server firewalls won't let us :-(( But just "have faith"!! ;-))

Our's uses a "high Q" resonant magnetic coil thing so the energy is not spread from "DC to Daylight", but is more concentrated to the frequencies the motor needs to run... But that is just old Tesla stuff...

Ecosol (www.ecosolinc.com) doesn't literally mean they make a "self-sustaining" power source as such--it uses more traditional energy generation techniques, like solar and kinesthetic (getting energy from motion), but some of the wording on their web site is pretty dense, making it a little difficult to figure out exactly what they do. It appears they sell a kind of energy-managing operating system and hardware that evens out the flow of power from these sources, since these sources can be variable. "Self-sustaining" in this case means the customer doesn't have to manually monitor their energy-generating system--Ecosol's energy management stuff does it for them.

Some advice: stop calling your device "free" energy. Whether it is so or not, you will move further ahead by not threatening the powers that be. It is much like painting a "bull’s eye" on your forehead and looking for someone to take a swipe - sort of like hunting with Dick Cheney?
Even the federal government will do what is necessary to stop you. If your device is real, it threatens the oil based economy, which is presently controlled by the oil-oligarchy!

Unlikely to be true, but assume it was some new sort of technology for a moment:

There would definitely be government intervention to stop its display and definitely plans to stop plans from leaking out. Middle east situation and role in world energy would be unstabilized and world may go into tailspin. Economics would rule at the end of the day and our world as we know it ain't ready for free energy (if it really did exist).

One comment above stated that Magnetism is the least
understood of all the laws, so to vehemently
deny the possibility of an "unknown" factor is wrong.

Teaching institutions of today need to teach flexibility because human understanding is limited.
Dont outrightly believe anyone, but hold an open mind to that which we dont yet understand.
