So...the lovely models would be BEHIND the TV then?

Forget the models, I'm loving the 3D, but then again....LOL!

Wait I just ordered the HL-T5687S off of Amazon a few days ago and they had been available for a long time. I guess I bought the 2006 model? So confusing...

Also, I thought HDMI 1.3 was only on the 89 models, not the 87s

I have had the 6189s since April. It is a wonderful tv!

What's the difference between this Samsung TV, and all the other dozens of Samsung TV's out there. Exactly how would I know which one is the better one? Beyond the price tag? They all sound the same. If it weren't for a few numbers off on each 'series', LCD or DLP or whatever, and how many inches diagonally, and which one has nice extra add-ons, they would all seem the same to me.
Sorry, it just confuses me sometimes. They're nice looking, but they all 'seem' the same.

Most of, if not all of these sets (I know the 87 and 89 series both are) are powered by an LED Array that replaces the standard DLP bulb + color wheel set up, which eliminates both of the most common complains about DLP TVs - bulbs burning out and the "rainbow effect".

I agree, some people are saying these sets are available on Amazon. I searched for HL-T6187S and HLT6187S. Yet the results given did not include these TV's.

These have been out since April. I've had the HL-T6187S for almost 2 months. It's an amazing TV. I love the LED engine. The 89S add more than just bluetooth headphones though. The 89S is the only one with PIP, HDMI 1.3 and USB 2.0. The other models don't have these features. The price difference wasn't worth it to me, so I stuck with the 87S. Amazon has amazing prices on these sets and they are awesome with the delivery.

These will be cute for the bathroom - hopefully they'll come out with something I can watch from more than a few feet away.
