JVC showcases HD Everio GZ-HD3 HDD / SDHC camcorder
JVC hasn't shown off any of its fancy Everio camcorders in quite awhile, but it's making a noticeable return with the HDD / SDHC-compatible GZ-HD3. This handheld camcorder does it up right with a built-in 60GB hard drive, MPEG-2 HD recording (though not Full HD, reportedly), and the ability to capture onto SD / SDHC flash cards. Unfortunately, not a whole lot of details beyond that are readily available, but while you wait patiently for a release date and price, feel free to click on for a few more glamor shots.

NOT FULL HD????? This means 1080i = 1440x 1080p converted to 1920x1080. or 1270x720p I prefer 720p then 1080i.

Much better off getting the GZ-HD7 everio. It produces amazing footage and can be found for a reasonable price online considering it films in full HD.

blindepassion... not the greatest reviews for your GZ-HD7 model, and so far, none of the major editing suites have support for it's video files. If someone wants nice HD video...there's a better chance they are the kind that wants to actually work with it, and not just burn it. I'm sure it'll get better support soon, though.
