@Rob: How is Microsoft a monopoly just because people prefer to use Windows? People know there are choices. How can you not notice the "Get a Mac" ads? The Mac product placements they put on TV and movies? How Linux is becoming more popular? There's obviously choices. So I don't see how they could be a monopoly, since they don't have complete control over an entire market. If more people still prefer to use Windows, that's there choice. It's not the fact that 'everyone assumes it's the only choice.'
