Black Box DVR may be the world's smallest... DVR
Have you been hankering for a really tiny DVR with a wired, hidden camera attachment? Have you had trouble finding one for less than three large? Well fret no more, because Mini Gadgets Inc. has got you covered -- and by covered, we mean they make what you're looking for, buddy. The Black Box DVR is a personal video recorder which features a tethered camera, and can utilize a miniSD card up to 4GB. The company's website claims it's the world's smallest DVR under $3000, and we're inclined to agree -- at 2.28 square inches, it doesn't get much smaller. The device can record 640 x 480 video at 30fps, and includes a "long lasting" Li-Ion battery, for when you're on the go... shooting secret videos. Available right now for the shockingly low price of $499.95.

if you don't want to buy it for the pic that is on the screen, you gotta be insane...
That's exactly why I want one... curse you marketing!
The "hidden camera attachment" isn't doing a great job... She is looking right at it.
Alizée FTW !!!
And, it has boobies.
Is this just a camcorder? It seems like a dvr with a camera on it is just that...
But it's soooo tiny.
"I can see down your shirt!"
All hands ON deck, gentlemen.
Judging by the responses about the girl it's "All hands on dick" :-)
why don't they just call it an upskirt cam
Because it has infinitely more uses than just that, like a beach cam, shower cam, tie-it-to-a-tree cam, birthing room cam (is that just me?)..
Hot Girl, hope see comes as a special prize for one lucky person, ME!
This is no big deal. It looks like they put the crappy electronics from an Oregon Scientific ATC2000 helmet cam into a box added a screen and bumped up the storage. It's not worth more than $200 retail and will probably go to that price level shortly after launch when everyone finds out how crappy it is.
Don't bother waiting for the price to drop. Every major supplier is reselling these babies. The dif from The oregon is that this comes with a button camera, 640x480 @30 fps.
The ATC2000 has a button cam inside the enclosure and the frame rate and resoution are the same. the ATC1000 had a lower resolution and frame rate plus the ATC2000 is shock proof (maybe shockproof to some extent but doesn't like heavy vibrations)and waterproof (have verified and it works). They probably use the same type of CMOS. The only advantage that this one has is that you can clip the button cam in a separate location than the recording unit. Still think it is priced on the high side for what it is.
Reducto says: "It's so tiny...BACK OFF!"
That white chick better come with it.
Stupid 2d image!
Alizee? Why do they have her picture on it? (Must be because of the upcoming album).
$500? Yikes.
Check out the RCA Small Wonder EZ101. It's slightly bigger and uses internal memory but it's only $100. My dad recently bought one somewhere (Radio Shack maybe?) for about $70.
Heck, for that matter, virtually any still-photo camera out there will do all of this for far less than $500, too, and a lot of those are getting quite small...
So I'm not the only one to think it's Alizee? This is so weird!! What is she doing there?!
Alizee FTW!
