There are too many iPod docks, period.
agreed.
unless it makes toast, time travels, or prints money, they should never make another iPod dock.
every deal-a-day site i go to sells them at clearence prices every other day.
WIll my brown Zune fit on these?
Why do they call all thses things 'iPod docks' where are teh ZUne docks? It is just as popular as the iPod after all...
I dunno about just as popular as the ipod, but yea it should do both.
it depends on if it has an auxiliary input, which it doesn't say for any of them.
they're called ipod docks typically cause they have the ipod cradle and connector for it to rest in, and the UI is usually able to with most, if not all, of the ipods functions.
just don't expect for dock remote to work with anything but the volume if you connect something than an ipod to it.
as for a zune dock... the zune needs a little more success before they make every accessory ad nauseum.
but what you could do is buy:
http://www.amazon.com/Zune-Dock/dp/B000IXQPJO
and
http://www.amazon.com/Zune-Wireless-Remote-Dock/dp/B000IXP96O
and then connect it to the aux input on any stereo, or a ipod dock with an aux input, and it would give you nearly the same functionality.
there are too many ipod accessories, period
As much as i like this. i want something convenient, sleek, and very portable.
This page has one of several fashionable Zune docks. Designed especially for current and future Zunes with matching colors available. A bit expensive, but built to last. It's a convenient dock, but not very portable.

What happened to supporting your own products also? Where's the GoGear docks? I adopting a "ME-TOO" sales strategy is more profitable than selling a competing product.
@Mrknowitall
I totally agree. I spent like $200 on a gogear and they go and support the ipod!!! If you go to philips.com for drivers for a gogear they never even updated the drivers to support windows media player 11, they said coming soon for about 2 years now.
Yet they make ipod hardware, WTF!

That's a classic.
