Three out of how many people? I think roughly a quarter of people I see on regular basis have iPods, and absolutely no Zune. Most people who don't buy it usually buy some Korean branded players or are given some off-brand players as a gift.
I don't have anything against the machine, but people just aren't buying it around me (of course, I do agree that anecdotal evidence is weak, but hard numbers show the likelihood of one knowing someone with an iPod).
