Unless I'm completely out of touch, a "Benjamin" means an extra $100.
According to Delphi's website the Real-Time Traffic kit will cost you just under 2 Benjamins. $199.99 to be exact.

Apparently, that's for the standalone kit. If you'll note in the press release:
"The Delphi NAV300 is priced at $399.99 (MSRP) and is available now at www.shopdelphi.com. NAV300 with Lifetime Traffic will have an MSRP of $499.99 (includes traffic for the life of the product)."

not bad for the price including the often "not so found feature - text-to-speech" in most gps devices around these price range. Might consider this infact..since I'm in the gps shopping age.

I'm not saying you're incorrect as that is what the press release said, but their website only lists the standalone $199 option.

Why has the Nextar X3-02 GPS been completely ignored by Engadget?
This unit offers Text to speech for 299.99 list and has been on sale at staples for as low as 229.99 (ended last week). This is the lowest priced unit in North America with Text to Speech that I am aware of.

@ Mitch -- where's Bluetooth and avi, xvid, mp4 and etc functionality in Nextar X3-02?? for $100 box more, you'll get a good deal for that. Nextar X3-02 is good for the price but too basic..atleast in my opinion.

Yes I see the lifetime traffic option for $199...not $99...what gives?
