The one where they, uh, fight...?
Definitely kicking the messenger into the pit
My favorite scene, is when He walks away from his wife, and says nothing, and she knows that he wont come home.
My favorite scenes are all of the ones where the spartans go phalanx. Nothing was more awesome than seeing a handful of warriors totally dominate using that battle stance.
I really liked the scenes where there were special effects :)
I hope I get one.
The best scene is when Leonidas asks the other tribe of warriors "What's your profession?" ........
My favorite scene would have to be when Queen Gorgo is giving her speech to the counsel to try and get them to send troops. But not that entire scene, my favorite part is definately when she steals the sword and stabs Theron(the scumbag) it's just so satisfying to see him get what he deserves and see Gorgo be just as strong as her male counter part, Leonidas.
Can't really put my finger on a single favorite spot but the part where the queen guts the guy is a nice part...
How can you pick just one scene they were all so good. =)
the begin when he pushes the guy into the gaint hole, it basicly set the mood for the whole movie.
My Favourite bit is right after the sun is blotted out by the 1000's of arrows and they just laugh. I mean.. what else could you do in that situation anyway? :p
I fell asleep during the intro of this movie, ha! But, I will buy it on dvd.
Haven't seen it yet, but looking forward to the DVD (no chance to go to the theater with a 3-year-old)
I just watched 300 for the 5th time last night, 3 times of which was in a theater and twice on DVD. And I just saw Pathfinder which further solidified my theory that 300 is a superior film and that money is not what makes a film a success. Mr. Snyder and company interpolated Frank Millers vision on the big screen and the results are far better than anything since LOTR. I'm talking to you Ergon, Pathfinder, and anything with Uwe Boll attached to it.
As far as my most favorite scene in 300, well that would be when the Persians send in the "magic" and the Spartans must endure a then unknown new type of weaponery: gunpowder. From the opening of the scene, with the Spartans backed up, trying in vain to find protection behind their shields, only to be hit with ricochet from nearby explosions and shrapnel.
Yet as the camera pans the battlefield we see at the front the utter determination of not letting go and forging ahead at any cost in the face of both an unknown enemy and "mystical" weaponry. It is the epitome of the battle, a glimpse to what lies ahead for the small contingent of Spartans fighting so bravely, seeking that "glorious death". I felt the pain when the shrapnel went into the soldiers leg and felt exulted when witnessing the huge explosion's effect on King Xerxes face. Anybody who has been to war knows what it is like to be such a position of uncertainty yet chiseling away one soul at a time and not giving up no matter the pain.
the wall of bodies, ala the great wall of china
I wish it were in stock at the movie store so I could check it out.
my favorite part is at the end when leonidas throws his spear at xerxes and slice the side of his face and when leonidas look up and see hundreds of arrows coming toward him
It's in my q on HD DVD.
Haven't seen it, but I would like to win the Xbox 360. Thank you.
Michelle
when the wall of shields were pusing the persians over the cliff.
When the guys whip hand gets cut off.
my favorite seen is when they are telling the story around the campfire as well as when the traitor is stabbed.
when they go boom boom with the brides mate.....very nayceeee
THIS IS SPARTA!!!
The wall of dead bodies
My favorite scene is when the Persians start shooting arrows and the Spartans raise their shields to deflect them.
"THIS, IS, SPARTA!" would be about right.
(I don't have the DVD, so no, I can't really tell you its true name)
Favorite scene would have to be....
when the persian messenger told leonidas to choose his next word carefully for that might be his last..and leonidas paused, drew his sword and pointed it to the persian guy and said...
"Earth and Water, you'll find plenty of both down there...You bring the crowns and heads of conquered kings to my city steps..You insult my queen. You threaten my people with slavery and death. Oh I have chose my words carefully, persian. Perhaps you should have done the same." paused and looked at his queena nd she gave her nod....and said again...'Madness?? This is SPARTAA!!!" and kcik the persian's ass into the pit
this is favorite because it leads to all the excitement and battles.
my favorite scene is when the persian "god" offers leanitus to be a sort of lord over much land and he bows, then one of the spartans runs out of the shields and stabs on of the persians with his sword. awesome.
This is Sparta! -scene
my favorite scene is the dancing drunk adolescent girl and then Leonidas' comments to his wife afterword.
The best scene I think is when they are piling up the bodies, and Leonidas while eating an apple, proclaims there's no reason they can't be 'civil about all this'.
Best scene has to be the end where Leonidas feigns resignation in order to wound Xerxes.
Best: the turtle scene, where all the warriors shields make them look like one mean, spiky turtle.
My favorite scene is when they talk about when Leonidas is left out in the wild and kills then returns with the wolf's pelt to become king.
My favorite scene was when the attackers all fell off the cliff...idk, pretty funny to me.
the bit where they are fighting. oh wait...
The scene where Leonidus? and his army await the Persians in front of the narrow cliff opening remind me of the Two towers scene in Lord of the Rings at Helms Deep; waiting for the Orcs to attack. 300 had so many great killing scenes it was like watching human Ronco slicer & dicers chew thru flesh & blood. Very Nice! I like!
Best scene: "this Is SPARTA!"
Arrows blotting out the sun. Yeah, I'm going to have to go with that one.
I actually HAVENT seen the movie :(
was gonna buy it on broo ray, but hell if I can win this... might as well try 'eh?
that box is sweet lookin though.
Ok here i go. My favorite part in the movie was the epic sex scene. :D
Yep the sex scene was grand! Wait there was two? More of a reason for me to win to rewatch it...
i liked the part where he kicks the persian in the pit and they just kill them all
I hope you guys all had your breakfast...
Because, "TONIGHT, WE DINE IN HELL!"
my fav scene is when the queen stabs that ahole and kills him. karma, beyotch!
Gotta go with TONIGHT WE DINE IN HELL! Just awesome
My favorite scene is when the messenger is kicked into the pit and Sparta goes crazy. It's so intense!
Hard to pick just one scene from this great movie :\
I especially enjoyed the part where they were all fighty.
