With the problems I've seen with compatibility HDMI how could anyone think a non-DRM'ed plug is bad? Like pirates are stealing a signal from a cable anyway! They go for burning the DVD's stright up. Hopefully (but I doubt) this will kill the stupid HDMI standard. Also hopefully it can have longer cords then the stupid legenths that HDMI has!
For those looking for a device strictly for reading, the new Kobo is a nice little option. It's small enough to slip into a pocket, can do more with a PDF than the competition, and at $129, it's $10 cheaper than both the Nook and Kindle WiFi.
