Check out your Xbox 360's heatsink without voiding warranty
Leave it to Ben Heck -- warranty thrasher and modder extraordinaire -- to point out an incredibly simple (and warranty-friendly) method of checking out your Xbox 360's heatsink. Put simply, you invert your console, snap a photo (or three for good measure) through the mesh, and compare your image with the above picture in order to determine if your box is rockin' the beefed up heatsink we've been hearing about. Go on, give it a go yourself, and make sure you report back with details of your findings (and photos for extra street cred).

I disagree with the XBOT's comment, I bought the 4YR extended warranty at Best Buy and if it overheats at ALL in the first year, I will keep getting replacements, free of charge, and after the 1st year, they will STILL replace it, but then its just $50 to renew another service plan.
So unless your an idiot when it comes to math and basic common sense like JON GRAFT (from above) lacks... buy the warranty, it's worth it! $300 plus $50 for a warranty equals $350, nowhere near the $600 dumba$$... LOL!!
Ha im on my 2nd 360 and get this my second ps3 as my 1st one kept crashing i had it only 4 weeks courier came and swapped it next day though
