It's been a solid two months since our last run-in with Apple: WWDC 2007, the last big press gathering before the iPhone launch. So here we are, late summer heading quickly into fall, ready to take on whatever new Mac products Apple's prepping to announce tomorrow at its intimate Town Hall meeting in Cupertino. I am waiting for today's announcement also. I am not expecting any macbook pro stuff, but better wait just to be sure.

I must admit Im beginning to get quite bored with all this apple stuff.

Dont get me wrong I've owned apple equipment for quite a few years now and very much enjoying my MBP - however, all this hubbub of Apple with their iPhone and MBP and their renewal of kit every couple of years - all because we want stuff to look like candy and go fast.

My G4 still works wonderfully does everything that most would want. Granted there are rare exception but in all reality they are few and fair between.

That, and my opinion that Steve Jobs is heading up the new big brother - ipods in everyones ears, everyone craving their new equipment. What better to dominate the world than to create something that everyone wants.

Oh, and Bill Gates is a jolly good fellow - his foundation has done some amazing things. A true contribution to the world to date.

Gosh what a rant.
