Thanks Daniel for your comment. I went ahead and ordered the XA2 through Amazon. From what I've been hearing Toshiba plans to release firmware updates for the system. So whatever the newer gen systems get so will the XA2. I also bought a Toshiba REGZA 47HL167 47" 1080p LCD HDTV. I can't wait to watch my first HD-DVD in 1080p.
