If the delayed launch of the epos pen is a quality issue can't people in a position of authority (engadget) get to talk to the epos people about the delay? - and let us know.
I did hear that they are to be manufactured by a third party.
I am very annoyed by the delay as well. I have done my graduation thesis about digital pens, using the (old) Nokia SU-1B.
My guess about the delay... I wouldn't be suprised if this pen would be a new feature on future Nokia phones. Whereas Blackberry is still using the Anoto technology, I think that Nokia will (wisely) switch to Epos' technology.

The X-Fi3 keeps with the company's commitment to audio fidelity, thanks to the apt-X codec, which supposedly offers audio quality similar to a wired connection when streaming. On that front, the device also handles FLAC files.
