They are simply producing too many different kinds of processor, that is, if the architecture amongst their product line is different at all. What is the difference between a Vpro and a Viiv? I agree. I can't stand any of the new naming conventions, and this makes it even worse.
If by simpler you mean harder to understand.
Then yes it is much simpler.
Almost sounds like one of those confusing sales strategy schemes.
