USB necktie with built-in fan keeps you cool, single

Ain't nothing classier than a clip-on tie...except one with a built-in USB-powered fan in the knot. We're not certain how this thing keep you cool, or why you wouldn't just use any of the million other USB-powered fans that don't increase your dork factor by 1000, but the people in the photos look so blissfully content we're actually a little curious.

You obviously did not get my point. It`s a no go because it`s USB powered, and hence very tough to wear this at the office with an 8 foot cable strapping you to your machine. I know some people who would wear this, but the design is too impractical to to be used.

When someone makes a miniature USB powered a/c unit inserted in the back of the collar, blowing blistering cold air down my neck/back, I will then consider it worthy of suffering the consequences of being considered socially deficient. To point out some manner of use for this, Japan in the middle of summer is an absolute stinker with humidity so high you sweat while you shower, and even if it's a geek-out, the comfort of the fan wouldn't go unappreciated (especially with a tie on). Horses for courses.
