Utter rubbish, why would Vodafone want these improvements. The only thing they are interested in is "how much cash will it make us...."

Ya, I'm calling BS on this "rumor" as these are all end-user improvements. Too me it sounds like any other jaded iPhone owner or iPhone hater's list of things that are wrong with the phone.
At least if you're making a "rumor" throw something in there that would suggest that corporations are making the deals, not new age hipsters.
