Meta, Fake Engadget store goes to China, gets downsized
No way, this ain't right. If you're going to bite our name and set up a brand new fake Engadget store in Guangdong, China, at least do it right and rent a whole freaking shop, ok? At this point you're really just embarrassing yourselves.
P.S. - Carl, we've already fired everyone involved with this fiasco.

i view myself as borderline anti-chinese, and sort of anti-world, because i'm gonna bet everything that the world is anti-US too. native chinese, right? ask you're parents what they really think of america? in fact, ask any chinese or any asian or anyone outside these borders and they all think America is a messed up place with messed up people and messed up politics.
Travel the world, Kamix, and see for yourself that American isn't so much anti-chinese as the world is anti-US. Ever been to germany, belgium, spain, even England and spoken to someone there?
i've never been to china, but have co-workers(yes, asian and chinese) that go back to china and they all literally enjoy the differences of china and america, but they are sick of the way the world works over there by the time their projects expire after a few months. they can't access certain websites and they mentioned something about the news reports being extrememly sensored and blatantly incorrect.
its approaching free market economy when you look at it from the street, but take a real look at the big picture. economy is one thing, but still communist as s**t deep down inside. Hu himself said democracy is a blind alley.
Sure, you say that the media is completely incorrect. But the US is the same way. The major media sources make all the other countries around the world look bad, even Canada. I was born in England and raised in Canada, and the opinions from different people all ultimately originate from the same reason. The states always seem to put blame on others and declares that they were at no fault whatsoever. As to how China is progressing, it is like a double edged sword and I can completely agree with what you said. All I want is for people to be a bit nicer and show their views in a less aggressive manner like bravo. Wouldn't the world be a much better place if that was so?
