Crayola has recently announced a cluster of new products that have little to do with the company's signature product, namely, crayons. The coloring-wax manufacturer is adding to its line of electronics aimed at the kiddies, with a new batch of intensely-colored gear produced by electronics maker
Sakar. The new offerings start with the $49.99 Crayola EZ Grip digital camera, a VGA camera with a 1.3-inch screen; the Crayola Type n Learn, a $29.99 USB keyboard that's color coded to make letters more distinguishable to kids; the EZ Click mouse, a $14.99, two button mouse with scroll-wheel (plus a mini, plastic aquarium in the grip); and the $9.99 EZ Frame mouse pad, which -- as you may have already guessed -- is a mouse pad that doubles as a picture frame. The camera is available now, all the other fun-filled items will be ready "in time for the holidays."
That is sickeningly colourful.
looks like a bloomberg keyboard
I would love to see some pro gamers play with that keyboard/mouse set up.
Ow.
I actually bought the camera for my daughter. That thing is a piece of crap and we returned almost immediately. Fisher Price makes a "Kid-Tough" digital camera that is better but still not great.
Note how the rows of keys are not staggered. At best, that's going to make the transition to a real keyboard harder.
is there lead in the paint!
Someone should tell steve jobs about this wonderful creation!
When kid, i started using a computer using a old ibm-pc-xt keyboard and i loved it. I wonder why today kids needs or gay shaped stuff or a tard colored gadget.
Because parents are move overprotective of their kids than ever before.
This is the second Engrish comment I've seen on Engadget today. And it is this which has inspired me to hold Fruition's Grammar Seminars. The first seminar begins now.
Let's take a look at the first two words here, "When kid". Believe it or not, this is not a coherent thought. But watch what happens when we squeeze "I was a" between "when" and "kid". We get: "When I was a kid". Notice the importance of having a subject.
Also, it's important to remember that you need to use "an" and not "a" when the next word begins with a vowel, like in the word "old".
Now, let's have a look at some verbs in this post. We have "kids needs", which implies that kids are the subject of this sentence, and the verb is "needs". However, while "kids" implies a plural, "needs" implies singular. The two, when combined, are grammatically incorrect. The proper phrasing is "kids need".
Now, you've used the word "or" here, and I don't know why. I think you best omit it. "Or" is used to compare two or more things, and while you have correctly used it later on in that sentence, here it is not needed.
Finally, I'll remind you that "tard" is not a real word, but because it is a commonly used slang term, it is perfectly useable when posting on the Internet. It is a good idea to refrain from using it anywhere else.
Thank you for joining me; this has been a presentation of Fruition's Grammar Seminars and if you take my advice, you will be posting like an English major in no time (not actually guaranteed)!
Yum! Yum! My kind of product! Love the keyboard! Could hug it to sleep...
Id like to see someone take that keyboard to a Lan party
What is Crayola doing in the electronics business?! When I was kid they made colored pencils, crayons, magic markers, and paints, and that was it.
What has Crayola become???
Anyone else think the mouse looks like a Razer mouse design? The ridges around the button are classic Razer Boomslang....
That's...interesting...I always knew Crayola for their crayons XD not so much their...keyboards?
