Takara Tomy's Transformers MP3 player gets photographed

Yeah, we've got a soft spot for all things Transformers, and while Takara Tomy's Transformers MP3 player isn't the most advanced DAP on the block, the fun factor is undeniable. Thankfully, the folks over at PrimeDiary were able to wrangle one of these bad boys up for themselves and snap a few photographs. Needless to say, we're envious, but go on and click through for a couple more shots of the MP3 player fanboys just have to have.

well thats obvious, in this day and age they are computer virus's that can take over all sorts of equipment and get transfered in to your PC when you connect the soundwave mp3 player via usb.

You could say, new transformer models stink. In fact even Hasbro is selling the new bionicle-transformer and the old-models (fairly superior). This mp3 player is another proof.

This is a fine piece of transformer, and I'm glad technology has finally caught up with the concept but, it has a few flaws.
No display for the MP3 player.
Also, I would've made a version of Laserbeak and Ravage that the SD card could plug into. Then plug the characters into the player, making them functional pieces.
If you grew up with the character, it's worth having but, otherwise it's disappointing.

They didn't make a Laserbeak or Ravage for the guy, but they did make a pair of Rumble and Frenzy headphones.
