XOUNT's illuminated, wireless speaker system
Meet the latest speaker system to make use of that NXT flat panel speaker tech, the XOUNT. This 2.1 system is said to distribute stereo sound evenly throughout the room while offering a half-dozen or so, €59/$69 skins (or Styles, as they call 'em) to reflect your unique and possibly, suspect design flare. They've even packed in a light source to amaze and confuse your pets. €329/$443 lands you a single illuminated speaker -- tack on an additional €165/$222 if you want the wireless iPod docking option. Choking dog skin-sample after the break -- no, really.

OK. Where's the 'Bill the Cat' skin?
oh man... that DOES look like a choking dog...
who comes up with these designs?
OMG! They've incinerated the Target dog and stuck him on an obelisk.
Those bastards!
As soon as I looked at that skin I made my own choking dog design all over my keyboard and desk. That thing is hideous.
For some reason, I immediately thought of the movie "Lair of the White Worm" when seeing this glowy obelisky thing.
That's a choking dog alright.
What message is it trying to convey? Done feel your dogs LSD?
I don't know. It kind of looks like whatever he/she/it was choking on - coughed it up.........
How do you pronounce this company's name?
"Chount"?
...hurling, not choking.
LMAO, just had like 5 coworkers staring at me cause i was laughing so hard at the comments. Thanks Engadget readers for brightening up my day.
Someone sell this to Warren Vick! It's cool speaker though
I think you mean Michael Vick.
u know in africa, that X is pronounced as a tongue click. so is that a click-ount?
Sorry, but he isn't choking; he's clearly vomiting. More specifically he *has* vomited and furthermore is in the process of vomiting once more.
Also I notice this article does not relate to the iPhone or Real/Rhapsody; curious...
No really, I do love engadget! :D
