The life of a
robot at Beck's Hybrids -- tossing seed and corn off a conveyor belt -- isn't exactly an exciting one, that's why Jackie likes to unwind shooting free throws to the Harlem Globetrotters theme song. He hasn't missed yet. Jackie was programmed by a Beck's Hybrid employee in one day to shoot hoops for the family-friendly Becknology Days. Jackie has a pair of arms and round hands to hold the balls, which are fired at the hoop every five seconds. Next year they're going to try to teach Jackie to play catch or shoot continuously. Unfortunately for them, Jackie has other plans...
No video? Weak.
You think they'll ever release a CD of "them" songs?
(In advance: sorry.)
I, for one, welcome, our globe-trotting, pallet-hucking, free throw-shooting master...
Seriously, sorry.
Eh, this isnt terribly impessive for me. Basketball is one sport that suits robots a little too well, calculate the apogee and force of the motion and you'll score every time.
Soccer (football) or Ice Hockey sounds so much harder because of the added difficulty of a goalkeeper to thwart your perfectly calculated shots.
does he play doom?
