Nokia N81 shown up close and personal
We know Nokia's got a big event planned for London tomorrow, but Unwired View's got the images of just what's being shown: among the releases, the 8GB N81 gaming / media phone will be there (though we've little more information the device itself). Also mentioned: the "N95 8GB" device and some new XpressMusic phones. Stay tuned for more info as we get it.

It looks HOT!
It also looks like it is made for left/right handers... cool
I want to see their keyboard, I'm always interested to see how companies implement the keypad. While I understand that this is not a business phone, I don't see even the number keys from the pictures. I want to see more innovations like the 6800 series and the then E70 flyout butterfly keyboard
how come the two white circles next to the earpiece are missing from the 2nd and 4th shot ?
I think the little cricles next to the ear piece light up, same whith the media buttons only when they are needed. the www.070829.com web page shows the phone and some of the images dont have the circles or media buttons.
What's with the Emo in the last pic
why is nokia absolutely incapable of producing a thin s60 phone?
Does it slide?
@Ray
The buttons only light up in game mode
@Donovan
Yes it slides
@thinner
Nokia N76, look it up
NGage2 FTW?
Does anyone know what version of OS is it running?? Symbian S60 V9.2 fp1 same n95 or V9.3?
Cuz if its running on V9.2, it sure looks different form my n95, also v9.2 probably does not support the lighten up button...
That thing's a fatty for sure.
er, seen it compared to the n80 and n95?
its like half as thin
dumb question....does this phone has a camera? can't seem to find a pic that shows the back of the phone....
If this one has a camera anything 2MP or better...me want me want
Yes, it has a 2mp camera...Nokia wont put a 5Mp camera in it because it would put it up against the N95 and they wouldnt do that.

Did anyone notice the landscape mode photos...they are holding the handset opposite ways around in the two photos.
I wonder if its a setting or will it be like the iPhone and sense the rotation of the handset.
The Nokia N81 looks like a nice phone but is it true that it only has a 2MP camera? Surely Nokia can do better than that, the N95 has a 5MP camera, even the N73 has a 3MP camera.
