Motorola's RAZR 2 V9m now available on Verizon
It's August 29th and that can mean only two things: Nokia is about to drop a slew of handsets and the Motorola RAZR 2 V9m just went live on Verizon. As expected, $250 (after online discount and 2 year contract) takes home all the V CAST Music and Video downloading you can handle over EV-DO with microSD expansion, 2 megapixel shooter, and Bluetooth stereo in tow. Yeah, nothing groundbreaking but this is as good as it gets for Moto fans.

Another beautiful phone with full potential that's ruined by Verizon's UI. *sigh*
That pretty much says it all right there.
Just wondering, does it use the original Verizon UI, or the more up to date one like on the new LG Chocolate?
the new one.. as you can see by the black bars on the top and bottom... the original had red bars......
@prokanda
Oh sweet! Because right now I have a LG VX8100, and if I decide to upgrade, specifically to this one...In no way do I want to be staring at the same freakin' UI!
Thanks!
Don't be fooled. It's basically the same interface/UI only with a few minor cosmetic changes (customers really hated the red bars because red is usually associated with warning, errors, and danger)
When will the Alltel version be released, because i refuse to be abused my Verizon's garbage software. I'd rather use a dynatac that have to deal with their garbage programming
How long are new phones typically sold at their coolnewstuff prices? It's purely psychological, but I could tolerate $200 much more easily than $250. I'd happy surrender
normal people usually want the same interface when they get a new phone, WHO FUCKING CARES what the inside of the phone looks like i mean seriously as long as it does what you need it to do and does it well which most of verizons phones do soo yeah maybe you people want a whole brand new ui everytime u get a new phone but who wants that learning curve? no one of the general public. verizons smart to go with the standard ui
