Faster Yume Neko Smile cat! kill! kill!
It's here, the Yume Neko Smile cat robot is here! Nourished on the bowels of discarded corporate mice and tears of frightened children, Segatoys has finally released its ¥8,379 (about $72) robo-puss to the delight of lonely old flying-monkey men the world-over. Check the video after the break Dorothy, you just gotta believe.

that's one scary cat :P
reminds me of stephen kings pet cemetary
How dare you post a link about a cat attacking a human, that's human cruelty!
[/sarcasm]
Yup Animal rights will be all over this.
Engadget you have been warned and your days are numbered. ;-)
The most useful thing he could do with that cat is wax on and wax off his car with it.
Ah, the Thomas Ricker way to start my day. -The hilarious.
That is pathetic.
Don't know who's scarier, the cat or the old man playing with it.. He really is barefoot isn't he?
The Japanese don't ever wear shoes in the house.
but why is the old man wearing girl's jeans? thats the scary part.
Yeah, that slipped my mind.
Only the wierd americans do that i guess. I saw a episode of Meet the Barkers, the where lying in their bed with shoes on, cmon! That is really f'd up.
Is it just me or does that look like david suzuki?
Was he molesting the robokitty? The whole thing is disturbing...
For cuter feline robot, check out the Hello Kitty robot.

This thing is a great companion for the elderly and senile. You don't have to worry about them not feeding it and it dying or cleaning up after it. And with the larger segment of the world's population getting older, these things will probably start popping up all over the place.
Haha, oh god, it's terrifying! + The music is amusing.
I need to crush it
this is probably the creepiest thing i've seen in quite some time!
this is a great product for old people for sure, that guys doesn't even
know its a robot, his family replaced his fluffy dead kitty with a this kitty
and he is none the wiser! senile old man!
The Toonsinator!
(Oh! He just wants to be our kitty!)
(AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!)
[car goes off cliff]
I want to know if I'm the only one who thinks that hugging a robot is something sad.
Now, if they could only make it bluetooth enabled so you could bring it with you and use it to answer phone calls. And then if its mouth moved when the other person talked...awesomeness!
Forget the cat, I want an old, gnarly, Asian dude of my very own!
next step, replace old people with robots that look like old people.
