NT220 PMP does DVB-T, upgrades easily
Nothing too special here, just another no-name portable media player that happens to do DVB-T TV. Taiwan based Newtrend Electronics is the manufacturer of this NT220 7-inch LCD, 480x234 pixel display toting player with slots for CF, SD, MMC, MS, xD, and SMC cards -- just in case this wasn't enough of a hint, it doesn't come with any built-in storage. No pricing or availability as yet, unfortunately.

Well obviously they all have to go digital, seeing that analog transmissions are being turned off almost everywhere there would be nobody left to sell analog receivers to.

Third world countries ?
Analog transmissions are gonna take loong time before they are cut off there (lol, here).

I'm not sure, all equipment is made in asia and using highly integrated chips, so it's possible that it will be 10 times cheaper to go digital in the third world too not too long from now rather than use hard to find increasingly expensive old stuff.
Even though digital (in old PAL/NTSC resolutions) is actually worse quality by the way, stuff only gets worse by digital compression alone.
