Being a bit of technical whizz i've added the hardrive of the ipod classic to the ipod touch. Its a lot thicker now and looks a bit odd as i had to remove the back of the touch to attach the hard drive and obviously can't put it back on - so will have to make a new one somehow later.
Got a few teething problems at the moment as the Touch no longer works but i think it was due to the mess i made of the soldering with i'm sure i can clean up..
I'll let you know when i sort this.
yeah....i just wanted some opinions on the new touch-pod....is it worth the money instead of buying a gen. late ipod? and what about bugs...any updates to come to fix bugs that im sure they have or will it end up a recall on it like they had for the mini's for shitty battery?
all in all do the con's outweigh the pro's?

I've spent two days trying to connect my 'touch' to my wireless network ..... an orange livebox. I have a laptop connected wirelessly and WAP security.
Any suggestions?
The main problem I have with and don't understand why this is, is why the audio quality isn't as good on the touch, and the nano as it is on the classic? I have a really nice pair of headphones and want the best audio quality I can get from a portable (apple) device. Is it a size factor? why can't they all have the same quality?
can you get enternet when ever you want??
does it have a speaker?
I can't wait to get this... 16 GB is definitely enough for me, because I only have about 300 songs on itunes. And I am very happy that they used flash memory rather than a hard drive. I just hope that the video quality isn't as bad as everyone is saying it is.
nope...
